You’ll receive your bag in an anonymous e-commerce outer box to minimize any risk during transport. When you open the e-commerce box, you’ll discover a custom-made box containing your bag, protected in its own fabric pouch.

Leather :

– Do not store your bag in a hot, humid or unventilated place. Don’t put it in a plastic bag

– Avoid prolonged exposure to heat or intense light.

– Store it preferably in its fabric pouch

– Avoid scratching it with an abrasive surface. On some leathers, any scratches can be reduced by gently massaging the leather.

– Avoid contact with any type of liquid (water, grease, perfumes, etc.). If your bag gets wet, use a soft, light-colored cloth to dab the leather to absorb the liquid.

– Maintain your bag regularly by dusting it and then applying a colorless leather care lotion with a cotton chamois. After application, allow to dry for 3 minutes to remove excess.

– Leather is a material that works and deforms, so be sure to fill it with ink-free paper to maintain its shape.

Color variations, small marks or veins are natural elements and should not be considered imperfections.

The Huipil (textile):

– Avoid prolonged exposure of your bag to direct, intense light.

– Avoid contact with textured surfaces or anything that may catch the textile’s weaving threads.

– Regularly dust the textile with a soft cloth and gently pat it dry.

– If the textile is stained, moisten a soft cloth with water and gently dab the surface. You can also use a neutral biodegradable odourless soap for this process.

– Periodically wash the entire textile surface, following the same instructions as above.

As the weave is weft and warp, the textile is not subject to fraying. However, it is normal to observe some wires rising. In this case, it is advisable to carefully burn the wire down to its base to prevent further damage and preserve its aesthetic appearance.

Accessories :

– Avoid impacts with solid and/or textured surfaces

– Avoid contact with any type of liquid (water, grease, perfumes, etc.).

– Dust accessories regularly with a soft cloth

Terms of delivery

Delivery zone – Delivery to a postal address

The parcel containing the items ordered and paid for is delivered by hand to the exact address given when the Order was placed. All deliveries are made against signature. Several delivery options are available:


UPS: Express delivery Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Buyer is informed by email and/or SMS when the parcel has been picked up by the carrier, as well as the exact delivery date. In the event that delivery is impossible due to the absence of the recipient at the delivery address, a delivery notice will be left at the delivery address indicated by the Purchaser and the carrier will make a new delivery attempt on the next working day. In the event of failure, a new run will be made on the next working day. If delivery cannot be made, the Buyer has five working days from the last delivery date to contact Customer Service before the items in the Order are put back into stock and the Order is cancelled and refunded.

– UPS: “Saturday” delivery option from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Buyers who place their Orders before 12 noon on Thursday may be offered the possibility of delivery on the following Saturday. The service will only be offered if the postal code entered in the delivery address is eligible. Orders placed after this deadline will not be delivered until Saturday of the following week. In the event that delivery is impossible due to the absence of the recipient at the delivery address, a delivery notice will be left at the delivery address indicated by the Purchaser and the carrier will make a new delivery attempt on the next working day. Terms and delivery times

When you place your order, we will inform you of the delivery time, which will be confirmed in the order dispatch confirmation. The delivery time indicated below runs from the e-mail dispatching your order. This time may be extended in exceptional circumstances. Any order placed on a non-business day will postpone delivery until the next business day. Marimba will do its utmost to meet the delivery deadlines specified below. In the event of an event beyond our control causing a delay in delivery, we will inform you as soon as possible. You can either request a new delivery date or cancel your order and receive a refund. Any change in delivery terms must be made via the application provided or our carrier’s website. Failing this, Marimba cannot be held responsible in the event of non-compliance with the delivery terms set out below. Marimba will not be held responsible in the event of non-compliance with deadlines (late delivery, impossibility of delivery, return of Products to Marimba, etc.) resulting from the erroneous and/or incomplete nature of the information provided by you for delivery and/or your absence at the time of delivery.

The deadlines are as follows:

– Next-day delivery (working day) to most economic zones in France.

– Next-day delivery (working day) to most other economic zones in Europe.

– Second business day delivery to most U.S. business addresses and major Canadian trade areas.

– Same-day delivery within 2 to 3 working days to Asia

UPS service times are :

– one (1) to two (2) working days for orders placed and validated before 1 p.m. on a working day ;

– two (2) to three (3) working days for all orders placed and validated after 1 p.m. on a working day.

Delivery problems

Any default or delay in delivery exceeding the stated delivery times must be reported to our Customer Service Department as soon as possible. In the event of non-compliance with the delivery deadline, you may give MARIMBA COUTURE formal notice to proceed with delivery within a reasonable additional period. If no delivery is made within this additional period, you may cancel the order in writing. However, in the event of non-compliance with the delivery deadline, and without further delay, you may immediately cancel the order under the conditions of article L. 216-6 of the French Consumer Code, if you have indicated to us that compliance with the delivery deadline is an essential condition of your purchase. MARIMBA COUTURE will then be obliged to reimburse all sums paid, at the latest within fourteen (14) days following the date of cancellation of the sales contract. If you nevertheless receive the Product after having exercised this option, you must return it in accordance with the return procedure set out in article 11 below. You must check the conformity of the Products at the time of delivery and indicate, if possible on the delivery note, in the form of handwritten reservations accompanied by your signature, any anomalies noted (open package, damaged product, etc.). You must then contact Customer Service. In the event of non-conformity of the Products purchased or if you are not satisfied with them, you may return them or request an exchange or refund under the conditions set out in articles 10 “Right of withdrawal” and 11 “Return, exchange and refund procedures” of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Returns and refunds

Free returns procedure

Products must be returned from a country within the Delivery Zone and in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below. MARIMBA COUTURE will not be liable for any loss, damage and/or delay related to returns made from a country outside the Delivery Zone (see article 8.1 of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale) and/or not complying with the following terms and conditions. Any additional costs (taxes and/or customs duties) and/or customs clearance formalities for a return from a country outside the Delivery Zone will be borne exclusively by you. When exercising the right of withdrawal, Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging (black box, individual sachet and shipping carton), accompanied by their purchase invoice. To do this, our Customer Service will contact you to register your return and tell you how to return it. You will then have a maximum of ten (10) days from the registration of the return to return your package to the address provided by our Customer Service. If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service department.

Refund

This will take place immediately upon receipt of the Product(s). A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. The refund, including the delivery costs of the initial order, will then be made using the same method of payment used for the order and in the same currency as that used to pay for the order. Please note, however, that your bank may take up to ten (10) business days to issue a refund to your card, depending on processing times. This varies from card issuer to card issuer, and MARIMBA COUTURE is unable to expedite this process beyond our control.

Gifts ordered from the Site

Only the customer who purchased the gift will be able to request reimbursement within the framework of the right of withdrawal (insofar as only the bank account of the person who ordered the product can be credited).
